55UV5 Series Scanner

The Fireye 55UV5 scanners use a UV-eye detector. This detector is a sealed, gas-filled, UV-sensitive tube containing two electrodes connected to a source of AC voltage. 55UV5 self-checking scanners are used to detect ultraviolet emissions from fossil fuel flames such as natural gas, coke oven gas, propane, methane, butane, kerosene, light petroleum distillates and diesel fuels.

UV90L Series Scanner

The UV90L Series Scanner is designed for front and lateral (90°) mounting which, in some applications allow the scanners to obtain a clearer view of the flame. The UV scanner is ideally suited for gaseous fuels (natural gas & propane). However, it can be used in detecting flames from standard fuel gases, some waste gases and light oil fuels such as No. 2 oil.

UV1A Series Scanner

The UV1A series scanner is an ultraviolet miniature non-self-checking scanner suitable for fuel gases and no. 2 oil. Non-replaceable tube. The UV tube is made of quartz and is filled with a gas that ionizes when struck by UV radiation from the flame. In the absence of UV radiation, the gas acts as an insulator between two electrodes that are mounted inside the tube.

48PT2 Series Scanner

The 48PT2 lead sulfide infrared scanner contains a low impedance detector and is designed to detect low flicker frequency IR signals from gas and oil flames. It is designed for use on D-Series, FlameMonitor, FlameWorx, MicroM and Burnerlogix controls. The mounting collar is 1/2" NPT with straight or 90 mounts. Available with 4 ft (121.9m) or 8 ft (243.8m) flexible conduit. Replaceable 4-263-1 sensor cell.

45UV5 Series Scanner

The Fireye 45UV5 (1005-1009) self-checking scanners are used to detect ultraviolet emissions from fossil fuel flames such as natural gas, coke oven gas, propane, methane, butane, kerosene, light petroleum distillates and diesel fuels. These 45UV5 models are used only with the Flame-Monitor^TM, BurnerLogix^TM, D-Series, FlameWorx, MicroM and some P-Series Fireye control models to provide flame safeguard and monitoring systems for supervised manual, semi-automatic and fully automatic single burner boilers, process ovens, and heaters.
