Kunkle Model 541

Model Descriptions
Model 912 Full nozzle design. SS warn ring and disc with brass/bronze base. Bronze/brass body and bonnet.
Model 913 Full nozzle design. Bronze/brass body and bonnet. 316 SS trim (base, disc and disc holder).
Model 918 Same as Model 912 except resilient seat/seal. Superior 'leak-free' performance.
Model 919 Same as Model 912 except resilient seat/seal. Superior 'leak-free' performance.
Models 920, 921 and 927 Certified for ASME Section I - Special Requirements.
Models 916, 917, 918 and 919 O-ring soft seated valves are temperature limited by soft seat material. Available for FM Firepump service.
Model 928 Certified for ASME Section I - Liquid.
Model 929 Certified for ASME Section I - PTFH (Liquid Phase Thermal Fluid).

Valve housing is heavy duty cast steel, stainless steel or bronze. Standard spring material is stainless steel suitable for temperatures to 550°F (288°C). High temperature alloy spring good to 800°F (427°C). Hex on valve nozzle provides for easy installation. Single control ring offers easy adjustability of blowdown. Pivoting disc design offers exceptional seat alignment. Seats lapped to optical flatness. Guide-to-nozzle ratio reduces friction.

  • Available with soft seat.
  • Threaded cap is standard (back pressure tight).
  • Hex on valve nozzle provides for easy installation.
  • Single control ring offers easy adjustability of blowdown.

  • Full nozzle design for optimum flow performance.
  • Threaded side outlet for piped off discharge to eliminate fugitive emissions.
