Steam and Water Mixing Hose Stations
These hose
stations are centered on the
intrinsically safe Steamix
mixing valve, which will
not pass live steam in
the event of either a
significant pressure reduction
or complete failure of the
cold-water supply. A wide range
of possible operating conditions
makes these systems flexible
enough to handle any washdown
job. Additionally, the simple,
rugged construction keeps the
Steamix valve operating in
adverse conditions that cause
other valves to fail. Armstrong
is so convinced of the
reliability and utility of these
systems that we offer a two-year
warranty on all valve wetted
components and a 45-day
free trial in your plant!
All assemblies are supplied
pre-piped, performance- and
pressure-tested, with an
integral
maximum-temperature-limiting
device.
Hot and Cold Water Mixing Hose
Stations
The Rada®
320 thermostatic mixing valve (TMV)
is the heart of Armstrong's hot
and cold water mixing stations.
It features unique full-range
temperature control from full
cold to field-adjustable maximum
temperature limit stop in a
single handle turn. The mixing
valve will hold outlet
temperatures +/-2˚F (1˚C) in the
event of inlet pressure and/or
temperature fluctuation or
change. Thermal-shutdown
capability protects the operator
in the event of an inlet supply
failure. Like the Steamix
systems above, all stations are
pre-piped performance and
pressure-tested.
